When the Republican congress came up with a precription drug plan, they asked all the drug companies what would work best for them and they came up with the doughnut hole. For you to young to know, what it does is cover you prescription drugs up to a certain dollar amount and then there is a hole or gap that you must spend without coverage until it begins again. The gap is about $2000 dollars. Why would you write a bill that favors the drug companies and is against seniors that are on fixed incomes? This bill was written by the Republican party while they had sole control of congress and they would not accept any changes. You ask yourself who benefits from this drug plan because sooner or later it will effect you?
