Announcing a new event for Bostonians for the Overthrow of King George!!
Welcome To the NEW American Revolution! (Party & Planning Session This Monday @ 8pm) When: Monday, November 13, 8:00 PM Where: At the original "Headquarters of the Revolution" The Green Dragon Tavern 11 Marshall St. Boston, MA 02108 Now that WE, the grassroots progressives in America have WON (and won BIG!)... now the NEW American Revolution can finally begin!!! JOIN US THIS MONDAY NOV. 13th for the start of the NEW AMERICAN REVOLUTION - to clean up corruption & restore accountability in Washington!!! We'll be meeting at the preferred meeting site for the planners of the FIRST American Revolution!!! The Green Dragon Tavern 11 Marshall St. Boston, MA 02108 http://www.celticweb....  This Monday we will be walking in the footsteps of other great progressive revolutionaries like Sam Adams (& probably drinking a few Sam Adamses too! ;) We'll be discussing where will go from here - how grassroots progressives can help keep the pressure on Washington to clean up the mess that has been created there over the past 6yrs! THEN, at 9pm we will all be participating in a nationwide conference call with Progressive Democrats for America (PDA)'s Impeachment Working Group & AfterDowningStreet.org, co-founder David Swanson. (SEE DETAILS BELOW) We need to organize to demand that the new Congress follow through with its pledges when it takes office this January. They need to get busy doing what WE sent them there to do - tossing out all the trash that has accumulated in DC!!! We need electoral reforms, changes in foreign policy, Iraq, health care, etc. BUT... we ALSO need to INVESTIGATE, INVESTIGATE, INVESTIGATE the White House for its CRIMES & ABUSES of power to stop this from EVER HAPPENING AGAIN!!! Democrats in 1990 backed away from prosecution of Reagan & Bush, Sr. for their crimes in Iran-Contra. That turned out to be mistake because it let them off the hook for their abuses of power. It allowed them to claim that they did nothing wrong in selling weapons to Iran or to terrorists in Central America. And that, led to many of those same criminals returning again in the Dubya administration! Well... NEVER AGAIN!!! America has finally stepped back from the brink of fascism!!! We need to make sure that the neo-fascists in America don't ever get such an opportunity again. We need to reform the system that allowed them to gain such unprecedented powers and prosecute them for their crimes too!
