Kerry adviser Bob Shrum said polls in battleground states such as Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania show the Democrat poised to win the Electoral College, which will decide the presidency.

``All you have to do is watch the president's campaign and you can see how apprehensive they are,'' Shrum said on ABC.

Polls released today in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania showed Bush, 58, and Kerry, 60, in a statistical dead heat.
