Dems in 2008, our next Meetup!

Dear Friends,

Slight change in plans. We'll still have the 7pm meeting at 300 N. 2nd Street, 8th Floor - but to watch the results of the primaries we'll be moving across the street to The Quarter. (Those of you not familiar - this is a New Orleans themed bar/restaurant. After all, it is Mardi Gras!) Prices are as follows: College Dems $10, Young Dems $20, everyone else $35.

On February 5th over 20 states will be holding their Primaries. Don't sit at home alone watching those results come in. Instead, come in and join us! There will be food and drink, lots of good conversation, several TVs, new volunteers and die-hard politicos.

The returns will start to come in at 8pm, but we will have a short meeting at 7pm before heading across the street to watch the results. We'll be outlining where we are now with the campaign process and, more importantly, we'll be sharing with you how you personally can make an impact in the 2008 election.
